David's musical journey began fairly early in his life.  He began with the Violin at age three.  At age seven, he found his interest had changed to the Guitar, which remained his primary instrument throughout his teen years.  David grew up in a very musical home.  Both parents played professionally.  His father is a multi-instrumentalist and his mother a guitarist and singer.  David began teaching private Guitar Lessons in 1998, with an emphasis on the fundamentals of Music Theory.  In addition to studying the Guitar, David has also spent many years studying a variety of other stringed and non-stringed instruments including, but not limited to, Banjo, Steel Guitar, Mandolin, Dobro, Ukulele, Upright Bass, Piano, Dulcimer, Balalaika, Harmonica, and Kalimba-Mbira. David is regularly engaged in recording sessions with a variety of artists, and can be seen performing live with numerous acts in the Chicago area.
